ORANGE PEEL MOSES
ORANGE PEEL MOSES
Tube to Work Day began in 2008 as a joke between friends Jeff Kagan and Andy Gruel – an audacious quest to see if one could actually commute to East Boulder offices without the use of fossil fuels. Attendance was slow to catch on until 2012 when two other intrepid tubers joined the friends swelling participation to four! Even with minimal participation, the media has always loved/covered the event and notoriety participation jumped each year.

For years, Ty Tomlinson made ordinary people feel like stars. Through his artistry as a hairstylist, he gave countless clients the confidence to shine. But now, Ty needs our support. Diagnosed with a rare cancer, Ty's been fighting a battle he didn’t even know he was in for two years.
Hairy cell leukemia is incredibly challenging to treat, especially since, in Ty’s case, it was discovered late. The irony? The disease is linked to his years of work in the hair industry. Despite these challenges, Ty’s spirit remains unbroken.
This is where we come in. A benefit party is happening on Ty’s behalf. Join us on Saturday, July 12 at Broadway Market Denver to help someone who’s dedicated his life to lifting others up. Every dollar raised goes directly to Ty.
Orange peel is co-hosting and performing for the occasion.

ABOUT ORANGE PEEL
“A rare character.” – The Onion.
Orange peel moses has been a fixture in the Mile High Denver club scene for 20 years. As a musician, he has hit elevated notes on Red Rocks' upper terrace with now-defunct “Best Club DJ” Friends in Stereo for Global Dance Festival. As a stilt performer, he has cavorted onstage with Top 40 pop stars including LMFAO and Will.i.am at world-renowned EDM events like Ultra and Electric Daisy Carnival. As a singing telegram, he has introduced Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and ambushed local news anchors on live TV. As a music journalist, he has interviewed artists from Steve Aoki to Henry Rollins.

Peele has never been one to shy away from larger-than-life characters roles. He has impersonated Zombie Michael Jackson, Alice in Wonderland's White Rabbit, Pumpkin King Jack Skellington and Gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson. He performed an uncanny homage to Johnny Cash for years. He even brings a unicorn to life via quad stilts and a silver saddle. Peele is currently plotting a music video for his new Daniel Iyere-produced, insect-infused love song "Butterflies.”
